Meet Jennifer Mills, A.M.A.’s newest customer service and sales associate, supporting customers using Ellepots by A.M.A.

Jenn is no stranger to hard work. She grew up on a dairy farm in Essex County. Enough said. She brings more than a decade of agricultural experience – plus a diploma from the University of Guelph-Ridgetown Campus – to the A.M.A. team. Jenn has a bone-deep knowledge of the ins and outs of life on a farm, including the importance of reliable, high-quality products, delivered when you need them.

She also knows all about the value and purpose of Ellepots by A.M.A., after spending 12 weeks learning from A.M.A.’s resident plant geek and Ellepot expert, Craig Willett. She knows how we make them, how we ship them, and how they benefit growers.

But Jenn had never seen what happens to an Ellepot after it leaves A.M.A. We thought we should change that! Our friends at Capogna Flowers invited Jenn to come for a tour of the greenhouse. What did you like?

I loved seeing the huge amount of Ellepots with beautiful plants growing. It was also great seeing the root structures in Ellepots physically rather than in photos. It really gave a sense of how this product supports quality root development

What did you learn?

I learned how many different systems can be used in the greenhouse and how these systems can sometimes greatly affect which size of Ellepots or which growing media is used. That was important, because now I have a better sense of which questions to ask growers when they are interested in trying out Ellepots. It also helped me see what alternatives a grower might have, depending on their system. It’s all about what’s the best fit for your operation.

What do I want customers to know?

I want them to know that the choice is totally yours! Ellepots can be customized for use in so many different growing systems. We can help customers find growing solutions to almost all systems, whether using Ellepots or not.
