PPA National Symposium 2024

Set in the vibrant heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina, the symposium is carefully curated to deliver an unforgettable horticultural experience. You’ll have the opportunity to explore inspiring botanical gardens, see the incredible work that leading companies are undertaking, and learn from top experts in the field.
We will recognize those who have made a significant impact to the horticulture industry with the Special Recognition Awards, offer the opportunity to meet the Perennial Plant Foundation scholarship winners, and provide the chance to see the unveiling of the 2025 Perennial Plant of the Year®. And with an incredible lineup of speakers, including Kelly Elsworth, Bobby Mottern, Rashid Poulsin, and Tom Ranney – you’ll leave feeling inspired and energized.
On Monday we’ll have four add-on tours on menu, as well as three tour options to choose from on Wednesday, and two education tracks on Thursday – meaning you can customize your experience and explore even more. We invite you to extend your stay in Asheville to Friday to enjoy the excellent speaker line up from Speaking of Gardening including Jeff Epping, Holly Scoggins, Irvin Etienne, and more!
We have two dinners planned for the week. Wednesday night at Highland Brewing will be a fantastic time to meet with old friends and make some new! And Thursday night we’ll have a very special dinner at the Governor’s Residence. Be sure to secure your ticket early as this special event is likely to fill quickly!
