‘Shared vision of innovation’: A.M.A. and BVB Substrates
The collaboration between BVB Substrates and A.M.A. Horticulture is unique and special. What ingredients make up this secret sauce? A shared commitment to forward-thinking, innovation, high-quality products, and working alongside growers. Together, we’re always learning, and always growing.
Our relationship has its roots in a mutual passion for innovation. When we first got started in 2010, A.M.A. was looking for an innovative alternative to a specific material. At the same time, BVB Substrates was developing something exactly like this and they were looking for a partner in Canada.Connie Bradt, Managing Director, A.M.A. Horticulture Inc.
“We are so proud of the strong partnership and shared vision we’ve built with BVB Substrates,” says Connie. “Through many years of knowledge exchange and learning, our team has gained incredible expertise to help our customers evolve and grow forward – especially in emerging markets like soft fruit. A big thank you to our innovative partners at BVB!”
Thanks to this collaboration, A.M.A.’s hydroponics manager, Shawn Mallen, has become a known expert in North America’s emerging berry growing market and is a frequent speaker at seminars, conferences and webinars. (See our BVB berry solutions here.)
Connie Bradt and Elise Johnson, Managing Director and Marketing Manager of A.M.A. Horticulture, respectively, were given the opportunity to sit down with BVB Substrates to discuss the driving forces behind this unique and valued partnership.
