Reduce water consumption with the H2O Labour-Saver Hanging Basket

This 23” basket has a removable liner that comes with a built-in wicking system. It draws water up from the 2.6 gallon reservoir, reducing water, labour and fertilizer costs.

The H2O Labour-Saver hanging basket helped the City of Edmonton reduce watering by more than 50% in sunny and windy locations, and by more than 75% in shaded and protected locations. As a result, the city saved big on annual watering and labour costs. Read the case study!

These baskets also eliminate challenges with over and under-watering. Simply stop watering when there’s run-off from the excess spout on the side of the basket.

Switch to industrially compostable tomato clips and twine

We offer industrially compostable hydroponics solutions that help make greenhouse production a little greener.

These brown clips from Bato are industrially compostable and ensure optimal plant stem guidance in the growing of tomatoes or other crops. The clip closes more easily than other clips, making installation faster and easier. Smooth and vented, they prevent cuts to the vines and an improved twine grip means no sliding on the twine.

Lankhorst’s Elite Bio Twine is made from the organic raw material PLA, a lactic acid and plant sugars, that is compostable in an industry composting facility. This twine can be used with a variety of vegetable plants including pepper, light truss tomato, cucumber and eggplant.

Grow organic vegetables indoors with the A.M.A. 60 Growing Container

Greenhouse growers have a new solution for producing high-quality organic vegetables indoors. The A.M.A. 60 Growing Container, developed by A.M.A. Horticulture Inc., is a simple innovation that satisfies organic growing standards in Canada.

This specialized growing container was designed in collaboration with growers to create a solution for indoor organic growing that would easily integrate with existing systems and adapt as trends and technologies evolve.

When the containers are placed end to end in a typical vegetable greenhouse, growers meet the minimum soil volume per square meter for organic certification.
